We recognise the right to collective bargaining, and uphold the abolition of forced, compulsory and child labour, and the elimination of discrimination. JF Hillebrand offices comply with all local employment acts and regulations, local Health and Safety regulations and provide safety training to staff as appropriate.

Today, CCWG tools represent the industry standard for measuring and reporting ocean carriers’ environmental performance on carbon dioxide emissions and pollutants. JF Hillebrand has been a member since 2013.
JF Hillebrand has been an active member of the UN Global Compact since 2011, companies around the world come together in a joint effort to promote corporate responsibility and to demonstrate that business is a force for good. The UN Global Compact is the world's largest corporate sustainability (aka corporate social responsibility) initiative with 13000 corporate participants and other stakeholders over 170 countries. It is a voluntary initiative based on CEO commitments to implement universal sustainability principles and to take steps to support UN goals.
